Latin for Blood of Jupiter, this Italian variety originally from Tuscany thrives in our vineyard here at Hollowmere in Mudgee. Our Sangiovese is carefully selected from our best blocks and aged in old French oak. A medium-bodied red with aromas and flavours of cherries, ripe berries, earthy spices and bright acidity. Perfect on its own but also pairs well with tomato-based Italian-style dishes.
